Segovia is a former Roman town northwest of Madrid. It was our first stop. It features
beautiful architecture, but one of its most amazing features is a very large Roman aqueduct
right in the downtown area which was still used until very recently! Also in Segovia is the famed
"Alcazar", the fairytale castle after which Disney modeled some of the castles used in his
theme parks and movies.
